Returns, Cancellations and Refunds

For information regarding returns, cancellations and refunds please see The Hamper Emporium Returns Policy.

We are proud of the quality and presentation of our hampers and do everything we can to ensure that every recipient is happy with their hamper. In the event that your hamper or its contents are incorrect or arrive damaged or faulty, please contact our Customer Service Team on 1300 459 452 or through our Contact Us page. 

• We will happily replace, exchange, or issue a credit or refund depending on the issue (damage, missing or lost), it's extent and how you wish to resolve the issue, at our discretion.
• Reasonable damage in transit to packaging is expected and is not eligible for a refund or exchange.
• We will require photos so that we can better understand the extent of the damage or issues with the product.
• We will not be able to replace, exchange or issue a credit or refund for any product that has been dispatched for more than 30 days.
• Please note that refunds will be processed back to the original method of payment.
• Orders cannot be amended or cancelled once they have been dispatched and are with our couriers for delivery.
• Please note that changes to orders containing cheese are limited once they have been processed at checkout.
• In the rare event that you or your recipient are not happy with the hamper or its contents, please return the hamper in the same condition it was received to the following address and include the original order number within the package: Attn: Returns, PO Box 3210 REGENTS PARK NSW 2143 (Conditions Apply).
• Hampers containing personalised items are not able to be returned as they are customised to your specifications.
• Due to the perishable nature of the contents in our cheese hampers, we do not offer cancellations, refunds or exchanges on our chilled hampers.
• Conditions apply to deliveries made to hospitals, hotels and schools. Further information available through our Help Centre and Delivery Page.
• If 'Signature Required' is not chosen during checkout, 'Authority to Leave' has been granted. Deliveries will be placed in a secure location on the premises, away from public view and a photo may serve as Proof of Delivery.
• Please note that when 'Authority to Leave' has been given, The Hamper Emporium and our couriers cannot accept responsibility or liability on the rare occasion that a consignment is lost or stolen after our couriers have recorded the package as 'successfully delivered'.
• Please note that when delivering with 'Signature Required' to a business or location with a mail room, concierge, loading dock or other, any representative may sign for the parcel. The Hamper Emporium and our couriers cannot accept responsibility or liability on the rare occasion that a consignment is lost or stolen after a signature is obtained.
• More rural or remote areas typically have deliveries sent to their closes post office or a collection point instead of a street address. Some business addresses in metro-locations also have a simiar arrangement. Should this occur, The Hamper Emporium is unable to redeliver or compensate.
• Should The Hamper Emporium successfully deliver to an address that was provided incorrectly at checkout, we are unable to organise a courier to collect or redeliver the hamper. Once a delivery has been made successfully to the address provided at checkout, The Hamper Emporium is unable to collect or compensate.

Purchase of Alcohol

The Hamper Emporium supports the responsible service of alcohol. It is an offense to supply alcohol to, or obtain alcohol on behalf of, a person under the age of 18 years. Liquor Licence LIQP770016481. 

If ordering hampers containing alcohol, you confirm that you are over the age of 18 years. It is a legal requirement that the person placing the order is over the age of 18 and the person receiving the delivery is over the age of 18.

Security

We utilise one of the most secure transaction channels available in the world today.

Our Ecommerce application includes the following security features:

• We use Stripe as our credit card payment gateway. Credit card numbers are encrypted on disk with AES-256 and decryption keys are stored on separate machines.
• Stripe’s infrastructure for storing, decrypting, and transmitting card numbers runs in separate hosting infrastructure and doesn’t share any credentials with Stripe’s primary services.
• Stripe is certified to the highest industry standards and has obtained regulatory licenses around the world, including AFSL in Australia.
• Ecommerce functionality programmed and maintained by Neto eCommerce, a sophisticated Australian website developer specializing in internet security and watertight website infrastructure.

This means that when you order from our website, you can rest assured that the highest security checks have been put in place to ensure that your details will not fall into the wrong hands.
