Welcome to The Hamper Emporium's new blog, we're truly excited to have you here.
I'm Emily McWaters, the founder of The Hamper Emporium, Australia's home of luxury hampers. It's been a long business journey to where I am today to proudly offer you this range of wonderful products.
We're a family owned and operated business based in Sydney, sending luxury gift hampers Australia-wide for all sorts of occasions. We truly love what we do, and we've spent over a decade perfecting the art of gifting so we can help you bring smiles to the people you love.
This year our team decided that we'd love a way to connect with more deeply with our customers, share our story, and share the stories of all the wonderful brands and partners we work with. Here at The Hamper Emporium we truly feel honoured to be trusted to deliver joy to your loved ones, so we believe that the better we know each other, the better we can serve you, our customer, and those who receive our hampers.
We're A Family Team Backed By Amazing Staff
It was over a decade ago that I followed my passion for gourmet food to launch The Hamper Emporium. What began with me standing in shopping centres selling hampers is now a company that I am so very proud of.
I'm surrounded by a team of passionate, talented and experienced staff members, including my big sister Amy, who is our COO.
I truly believe that our family focus makes The Hamper Emporium not only a great place for our staff to work, but also it's what sets us apart as leaders in Australian gifting.
Every decision we make, every product we deliver, every hamper that leaves our warehouse is as important to me as if it were being delivered to my own family, we're in the business of delivering happiness, after all.
Some of our amazing team have been with me since the early beginnings of The Hamper Emporium, and some have joined us as we continue to grow, but all are passionate about our company, because what better job could there be than one that delivers beautiful gifts to special people?!
We think we've got the best jobs in the world, it doesn't get much better than delivering joy!
Did you know that we've delivered beautiful gift hampers to over 200,000 happy Australian customers? Whether it's hampers for family members or branded corporate gifts for some of Australia's largest companies, each order is delivered with the utmost of care.
What's Coming Up For The Hamper Emporium?
One of the favourite parts of my role is developing new gift hampers and also discovering beautiful new brands to build partnerships with. When I'm not working in Sydney from the office, you'll find me working from my home on Kangaroo Island.
Kangaroo Island is truly an unspoilt paradise and as I've discovered since moving there with my family, it is also home to some of Australia's most fabulous artisan products and we're proud to have introduced some of these exclusively to The Hamper Emporium gift hampers.
We're partners with some of the world's most fabulous brands, including Moët & Chandon Champagne and wine, Willie's Cacao, Butler's Chocolates and L'Occitane luxury French skincare.
Of course we know that some of the most fabulous brands are right here in Australia including Jurlique, iconic Australian children's clothing brand Marquise and Ernest Hillier Chocolates, founded in Australia in 1914, just to name a few.
This year we've been delighted to uncover some truly special artisan producers based on Kangaroo Island, such as Kangaroo Island Skincare; a truly special addition to our Mother's Day Gift Hamper range for 2019.
Kangaroo Island Skincare produces exquisite luxury skincare featuring some of Kangaroo Island's most coveted natural ingredients, including Pure Ligurian Honey and Narrow Leaf Mallee Eucalyptus Oil. It's a range that we're proud to support and honoured to include in our pamper hampers.
So for now, we're continuing our focus on exclusive brand partnerships, and while not all our brands are exclusive, every product included in our luxury hampers has been hand selected for quality, beautiful presentation and amazing gourmet flavour.
The Hamper Emporium continues to grow, which means we bring joy to more customers each year, and are able to create more jobs and continue to build our hamper family.
