How Long Until Australian Christmas Hampers Are Delivered?
The delivery time of your Australian Christmas hampers depends on where you live. The further you are removed from our warehouse, the longer it may take for your Australian Christmas hampers to be delivered. Of course, there are additional delivery options you can use to get your hamper quicker.
Customers can view their estimated delivery time on the product description page of a hamper. Underneath the product descriptions, you can find a standard delivery and express delivery section. These sections display the estimated delivery time for each region, so you can get a better idea of when your hampers might arrive.
Is the Standard Delivery Option Always Free During the Holidays?
When you choose the standard delivery option for your hampers, then it will always be free. The standard delivery option is available for all our hampers and can be used for all Australian postcodes; this means that you could send your hamper directly to your recipient too.
For New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria and Australian Capital Territory will get their hamper between 1 and 3 business days with standard delivery. Customers in South Australia and Tasmania will get their hamper between 3 and 5 business days. Customers living in Western Australia and the Northern Territory should wait between 5 and 8 business days.
Customers who live in regional areas can determine their estimated delivery time by adding 1 to 2 business days to the metro estimates. For example, if you are closest to Tasmania, simply add 1 to 2 days to the estimate to determine your estimated delivery time.
When Are Deliveries Made?
Couriers can make hamper deliveries throughout the day during the holiday season, since this is an extremely busy time of year. However, most deliveries will be made from Monday to Friday, not considering public holidays.
Even though the Hamper Emporium can cater to customers to deliver their hamper on a specific day, we can never guarantee it when standard delivery is chosen. Even though our aim is to deliver as close to the chosen day under standard delivery, estimated deliveries can vary somewhat during the Christmas season.
What Can You Tell Me About the Premium Delivery Option?
The premium delivery option is available for customers residing in Sydney, Canberra, Woollongong, Newcastle, Gosford, Melbourne, Geelong, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Ipswich, Adelaide and Perth. With this option, customers can get a guaranteed delivery on their requested day. So, this option is most suitable for customers who can only receive their parcel on a specific day of the week.
There are some exceptions for the premium delivery option though, because this option is not available for PO boxes and parcel locker addresses. So, please consider this when choosing your delivery option during the checkout process.
What Can You Tell Me About the Same Day Delivery Option?
The same day delivery option is available for customers in Sydney Metro. If you place an order before 10 am on Monday to Friday, then you can get that hamper before 5:30 pm on the same day. If you place your order before 1 pm, then you could be getting your hamper before 7 pm that same day.
Please note that this option is only available for customers who order their hamper before 1 pm. If you order your hamper after 1 pm, then your hamper will be delivered the next business day. Therefore, if you order your hamper after 1 pm on a Friday, then your hamper might not get delivered until Monday.
What Can You Tell Me About the Next Day Delivery?
The next day delivery option is available for customers residing in Sydney, Canberra, Woollongong, Newcastle, Gosford, Melbourne, Geelong, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Ipswich, Adelaide and Perth. If customers from these areas order their hamper before 1 pm, they will receive their hamper the next business day.
What Is the Express Delivery Option?
Express delivery is an option available for customers living outside the major cities. If customers use this option, they can speed up the delivery of their hamper. In most cases, the hamper will be delivered the next day if the order was placed before 1 pm. However, this is not a guarantee with the Express Delivery Option, especially during the holiday season.
What Is Authority to Leave?
Customers who regularly order parcels online may be familiar with “authority to leave” already. If you give a company permission or “authority to leave” after placing an order, you allow them to leave your parcel at a safe location if you are not home.
Even though you may have given us “authority to leave”, this is not a guarantee that the parcel will be left at a safe location if you are not home. If the courier cannot find a safe location, the courier may decide to leave a card to arrange a redelivery. He might also choose to leave your parcel with a neighbour or your local post office.
Please note that redelivery fees may apply to some deliveries; this depends on the courier that is delivering your parcel. Therefore, we highly recommend making sure that you can receive the parcel after ordering.
